As we age collagen production reduces which leads to signs of ageing in the face and neck. Known as the world’s best moisturiser, Profhilo treatment is a set of pure hyaluronic acid injections that moisturise the skin and stimulate the formation of collagen and elastin. It diminishes fine wrinkles and moisturises skin from the inside, substantially enhancing quality and look.
The treatment entails five injections on each side of the face. The formula is distributed throughout the whole bottom and middle face acting as a tissue stimulant, bio-rejuvenator, and bio-revitalizer.
While Profhilo is not injected directly around the eyes, under-eye treatment is one of the most commonly requested treatments as when injected lower on the face, it can significantly smooth the eye region.
The Profhilo therapy is also effective in revitalising the backs of the hands, making them appear younger and smoother. The lotion can once again tighten loose arm skin.
WHO IS THE TREATMENT SUITABLE FOR?
Profhilo is an anti-ageing hydration treatment that helps boost hydration beneath the skin’s surface and kickstart the natural production of collagen and elastin. It is suitable for anyone who would benefit from increased hydration, more collagen, or elastin. Typically clients are aged 30-55 and want to look younger and for their skin on their face, neck, hand, or arms to look better.

To date, only a low level of post-treatment incidents have been reported. Your safety is paramount to us and so we advise the following:
- Do not have Dermal Filler, Profhilo, or Botox injections 2 weeks before your planned vaccination or 3 weeks after.
- If you have been infected with Covid-19, do not have Dermal filler, Profhilo, or Botox injections for the first 3 weeks of being symptom-free.
- If you develop any symptoms after the treatments, please contact our Clinics immediately.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT
Your skin will look better hydrated almost immediately after treatment. You won’t see the collagen elastin’s benefit until at least six weeks after your first treatment. The best results will appear 4-6 weeks after your second treatment.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
Profhilo was launched in Italy in February 2015, and it’s been in use worldwide ever since. Over 300,000 patients have been treated so far, with no adverse reactions reported. Side effects (e.g., redness, pain, swelling) are mild and temporary. From a safety perspective, it is made from ultra-pure, natural hyaluronic acid and stabilised without chemical cross-linking agents; this reduces the risk of adverse reactions, so the downtime is minimal.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
To achieve the results, you will initially need 2 Profhilo treatments four weeks apart and then a top-up after six months to maintain the effect.
WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER MY PROFHILO TREATMENT?
- No makeup for 6 hours after treatment
- Refrain from any facials for two weeks
- No heavy exercise for 24 hours after treatment
- Be gentle when washing the filled area of your face, neck, chest, or hands
- Try to avoid unnecessary touching of your face for the first 24 hours after treatment
WILL THE PROFHILO TREATMENT MAKE ME LOOK FROZEN?
Profhilo does not fill anything or restrict facial movements in any way. It is a very subtle, natural-looking result.
