What is Laser Genesis?
The Laser Genesis procedure utilizes non-invasive laser technology to safely yet effectively treat diffuse redness/rosacea, large pores, uneven texture, scars and even fine lines and wrinkles.
What is diffuse redness/rosacea?
Diffuse redness is a general look of facial redness caused by dilated capillaries under your skin wherein there is an appearance of general redness, not discrete, well defined vessels. It is often associated with a condition called Rosacea, which can be hereditary. Laser Genesis helps generate heat in dilated capillaries to reduce this redness.
What are large pores?
Large pores, often referred to as open pores, represent the pores of our skin that have been stretched out either by sebum, dead cells and dirt in people with oily skin, or as a part of the natural process of ageing leading to reduced elasticity of skin. By gently heating the upper dermis, Laser Genesis stimulates collagen regrowth thereby improving the elasticity of your skin, significantly reducing the appearance of those unsightly pores.
What does the procedure feel like?
Patients often describe the treatment as relaxing and therapeutic. You will not need gel, anaesthetic cream or ice prior to treatment.
